the beach

A couple of weeks ago we went to the beach. We were there for minutes and my kids begged to put on swimsuits. So we let them...notice the guy coming out in a wetsuit.


Good thing we brought a change of clothes for after their water play. It was nice to have dry clothes. 


 We stayed at the beach until late. We built a big bonfire and made dinner.  I had the BEST broccoli made over the campfire. My childhood best friend, Kayleen and her family just moved to Monteray and we loved getting to play with them and spend time with them.

i love the beach. a beach day + bonfire sounds perfect. and it must have been good broccoli if you are still talking about it! looks like a fun day.
