Think Pink

October is a great month. Halloween, the start of Fall (in some places), apples, pumpkins, making applesauce and corn fields. It is also breast cancer awareness month. I have always felt strongly about research for breast cancer. I don't have cancer nor do I know anyone with breast cancer. But I do have boobs. And friends with boobs. We need to help our future. We need to protect Dayne, Addison and Rebecca, their future. Their future boobs.

There are lots of things you can do to help support research and support survivors. There are walks, donations or much more fun, shopping. I can't afford much but when I am buying household items this month, I buy pink. So far we have pink hand soap and I plan on buying the breast cancer research stamps. May I also suggest:
Stepping off my soap box.

One more thing, if you leave a comment I will send you a bracelet. Wear it this month. Be proud. Do self exams and be supportive.

Way to go supporting a good cause! Everyone can also send in their pink lids from Yoplait. Hope everything went well today with Crewe!

I forgot that I also bought Dayne, support breast cancer research, teething rings. I will admit that I also bought them because they are pink and purple.

Ash, this is such a great thing to post about! It is so important that we are aware. My grandma and her twin sister both had breast cancer so my mom, my sister and I are all high risk. I love that you are supporting such a good cause.

My grandmother died from breast cancer 5 years ago. One of the women Steve works with in Cub Scouts found a lump last month (but it turned out to not be cancer) but Steve asked me if I've been doing self exams and I haven't. Reminders are always good. and I also want to protect the future boobs of Addison, Dayne and Rebecca.
